I’m still figuring out what I want to be when I grow up, but I’ve got to say being a Creative Director feels like hitting the jackpot. It’s where my love for creativity, daydreaming, and mentoring others all come together. In college, where I studied Graphic Design and was Executive Director for the Student Leadership Team, I began developing my leadership skills by managing 7 leadership programs. Now, after being in the marketing professional workforce for over ten years, I am still as eager as I was in college to learn how to better myself and my team’s work as an Executive Creative Director.
From small, tight-knit teams to bigger crews of over 100, I’ve navigated the challenges of being a manager through good times and difficult times. My specialty is juggling processes, efficiency, and keeping the creative juices flowing. When it comes to leading, I’m all about lifting others, helping them tackle challenges they never thought possible, and keeping our eyes on the prize as a team. Every day isn’t spent in the winning locker room. However, I am still so proud of the company accomplishments I have been a part of - like raising $2M in donations for charities with Bravelets and being a founding team member of Thrasio, which was the fastest-growing company in America to reach unicorn status ($1B valuation).
Sure, you might catch me burning the midnight oil in the office or sneaking in some extra hours, but don’t let that fool you! Work-life balance is vital for me and my team. You can easily find me at the park in the evenings soaking up some sunshine or kicking back on a patio with a drink in hand with friends.
I’m on a quest for growth and adventure, always up for diving into new opportunities headfirst. In the world of brand strategy, I’m all about rallying the troops and seeing ideas through from start to finish. A win with effective creative marketing is a win for all of us. I live by the “one team” mentality.
